The estimated cost of the transcript will depend on the length of the requested proceedings. You will have the opportunity to review and approve the estimate before proceeding. You are under no obligation to complete the order until you accept the estimate.

 

The estimated cost of the transcript shall be paid in full before the transcript will be prepared.

Payment Type

A TRX Order has 3 possible payment types: Private, Indigent, and Other Govt Paid.

Private transcript orders include any order placed, and paid for, by a non-indigent or non-government entity; most often these are litigants or attorneys.

Indigent transcript orders are paid by the Court which occurs when the court deems a defendant unable to pay. These types of orders are usually placed by the Public Defenders office or appointed council.

Other Govt Paid transcript orders represent orders placed by a government entity which does NOT come under the Indigent category (e.g, a Judge, govt agency, etc.).

Requested Delivery Date

Select the preferred date that you would like to receive the transcript. Please note that the actual delivery date depends on various factors and will be communicated to you by the Provider prior to the production of the transcript starting.

The Provider will also communicate to you a cost estimate of the transcript. The estimated cost of your requested transcript will be calculated based on the information you have provided, including the turnaround time you choose (see table below). You will be able to review the adjusted estimated cost prior to acceptance and the work commencing.

The final cost of your completed transcript(s) will be based on the total number of typed pages actually produced by the Provider. The final cost is calculated by multiplying the number of pages produced, by the applicable published page rate for Hendricks County, Indiana.

If any part of your request has been previously transcribed, those pages may be available at the Copy price listed above. The Court notifies you if this is the case and will adjust your cost estimate accordingly.
